Konstantin Mogilevsky, Russia’s Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education, highlighted the strong tradition of Russian universities in training engineering and technical personnel during a recent visit to Hungary. He proposed establishing a Russian-Hungarian working group on science, an initiative supported by Hungary as well.

Mogilevsky also met with Veronika Varga-Bajusz, State Secretary for Higher Education, and Zoltán Szilvássy, Rector of the University of Debrecen, and visited the Antal Bejczy Center for Intelligent Robotics Lab at Obuda University’s University Research and Innovation Center. Discussions included the activities of the Association of Russian-Hungarian Universities and plans for the first Forum of Russian and Hungarian Rectors in 2025.
